Back to school at the mall this Friday

SPD Community Oriented Staff will be working at Mall St. Vincent to distribute crime prevention and resource materials to the citizens Friday, August 3, 2007, 10:AM until 4:PM.  Items being distributed will include but not be limited to:  information about school bus safety, passenger safety/seat belts, curfew & truancy, etc. and books.  

Our efforts are to continue to build relationships between the citizens and our Officers.  We hope to encourage youth, and their parents, to obey the rules and stay in school.  Kids have the right and responsibility to attend school, and one way of gaining knowledge to get ahead in society is to get an education!  Through community policing – the citizens can help us police the community!
