Beating suspect sought

Shreveport Police need the public's help in finding a man who is wanted for seriously beating a man two months ago in the 100 block of Egan Street.

About 8:30 p.m. on June 1, 19-year-old Robert Harris was hit and kicked in the head and shoulders several times, causing him to suffer serious injuries to his face and eyes.

Police secured an arrest warrant for the suspect, 18-year-old Kendrick Francis of Shreveport, for aggravated battery. 

Anyone who has any information on Francis' whereabouts is asked to contact detectives at 673-6955 or Crime Stoppers at 673-7373.
