Police Pastor Youth Activity Day

Mayor Cedric Glover and Chief of Police Henry Whitehorn will be on hand for the Police Pastor Program's Youth Activity Day, taking place this Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at A.B. Palmer Park.

Games, face painting and door prizes are all planned for the day, which is expected to bring more than 200 children to the park.

After an invocation and opening ceremony at 10 a.m., activities will commence. Lunch will be served around 12:15 p.m.

The event is free and open to the public. This is one of the special events going on this month to commemorate the 7th anniversary of SPD's Police Pastor Program.
