Police Pastors on Patrol celebrate 7 years

This release is being put out by the PIO shop at the request of Reverend Ernest C. James, Chairman of Publicity.

The Police Pastor's Program, Dr. Calvin Kimble Commander, will celebrate their 7th anniversary on Sunday, August 26, 2007 in the evening at 6:00 PM at the Linwood Baptist Church, located at 1622 Midway Avenue, Shreveport Louisiana. Dr. Ed Gonzalez, will be the Pastor/Host.

The program will feature a video history of the Pastor's involvement with both the Shreveport Police Department as well as the community and city affairs.

Mayor Cedric B. Glover and Police Chief Henry L. Whitehorn, along with other leaders of Shreveport will be there to celebrate this milestone in ministry with the Pastor's on Patrol Program. The featured Speaker will be Dr. Ed Gonzalez, Pastor of Linwood Baptist Church.

The Theme "Bridging the Gap Between the Civil and the Sacred" (Romans 13:1-5) is the focal point of this city-wide ministry. Can we make a difference? Yes we can with great leaders and great leadership! Following the program there will be a reception in the fellowship hall. Reverend Ernst C. James
