Two Officers to be honored at City Council Meeting

SPD Officers Matt Reed and Brent Mason will receive awards from Mayor Glover tomorrow afternoon at the city council meeting.

Officer Reed and Mason compete in Kick Boxing and Mixed Martial Arts. Both are recognized State and International champions.

Mayor Glover will present an Award of Excellence to each of them, for their unmatched skills and for being outstanding ambassadors for SPD and the City.

Both officers will be at the City Council Chambers at 3:00 PM to accept their awards and promote the battle of the Badges, which is a fund raiser set for September the 22nd in the Sam's Town Ballroom.
