Shreveport Police need the public's help in finding a man who fired shots into an occupied house this morning. Shortly before 1:30 this morning Officers were called to the 4200 block of Cadbury in reference to a shooting. When they arrived at the scene they found the victim Derrick Taylor, a black male DOB 10-20-81 lying in the living room of his apartment with a gunshot wound to his mid-section. Taylor was transported to LSU hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Witnesses stated Taylor had been outside arguing with the suspect, Carlos C. Moore DOB 5-29-1988 . After Taylor walked into the residence, the suspect walked to a window and fired several shots into the residence striking Taylor and damaging several walls and doors inside the house. Residence of the apartment went to the door and saw the suspect fleeing and called police. Approximately 6 other people were in the apartment at the time of the shooting. Taylor later identified the suspected shooter as Carlos C. Moore This morning Detectives were about to get an arrest Warrant for Attempted 2nd Degree Murder on Carlos C. Moore. Moore is known to frequent the Ingelside, Allendale and Cooper Road area. Moore is considered armed and dangerous. If anyone knows the whereabouts of Carlos C.
