Grass roots walk next week

On Wednesday, Sept. 19, 2007 at 3 p.m., the Shreveport Police Department's Community Oriented Policing Bureau will conduct another Grass Roots Crime Fighting Campaign.

This walk will cover part of North Shreveport -- the Grimmett Drive Apartments and the Northwood II Apartments located in the 2000 and 2100 blocks of Grimmett Drive.

About 165 residences will be visited in both apartment complexes.
