Narcotics operation yields six arrests

Caddo Sheriff Steve Prator and Shreveport Police Chief Henry Whitehorn announced today the results of a day-long drug sweep where suspects were arrested on outstanding warrants.

On Monday, agents with the Caddo-Shreveport Narcotics Task Force, assisted by the Caddo Sheriff's Office Special Response Team and Caddo Sheriff's K-9 Unit, executed search warrants at 3657 Darien Street and 2053 Milam Street. Authorities obtained consent to search a third house located at 7110 Union Street.

Agents seized 162 grams of marijuana, 55 grams of crack cocaine, and four weapons from the three locations.

Those arrested and their charges were:

3657 Darien

Bobby Law, 21, possession of schedule I

Darnell Smith, 50, possession of schedule I and resisting an officer

2053 Milam

Duty Reese, 54, possession of schedule II with intent to distribute and possession of a firearm with narcotics

7110 Union

Trey King, 18, possession of schedule I with intent to distribute and possession of a firearm with narcotics

Keaton Shaw, 20, possession of schedule I with intent to distribute and possession of a firearm with narcotics

Johnny Howard, 33, possession of schedule I with intent to distribute and possession of a firearm with narcotics
