Motorcycle arrest on Cross Lake Bridge

This morning shortly before 1:00 am Shreveport police were called to the cross lake bridge for a motorcycle accident.

Two motorcycles were racing westbound on I-220 when shortly after getting on the cross lake bridge on of the two motorcyclists lost control of his bike.  The Man slid over 400 feet while his bike slid another 350 feet. 

The man was taken to LSU-HSC with severe road rash and a broken wrist.

Police are investigating this accident and expect to issue citations, but have not done so at this time.
