Shreveport police are looking for a 16-year-old girl who was last seen leaving home on Oct. 9.
Shantale Harris left her home in the 600 block of Olivia around 7:45 a.m. with the presumption that she was headed to school at Capt. Shreve. She never got to school, and her mom reported her missing later that afternoon.
It is believed that Harris ran away from home. However, her welfare is of concern, so it is important she be located.
Harris is a black female, 5'7" tall, 130 pounds. She has black hair with highlights in it.
Harris' mom is available for media interviews. If any media member would like to speak with her, contact PIO Kacee Hargrave, so arrangements may be made.
Anyone who recognizes Harris is asked to call Detective Patricia Lamotte at 673-7020 or Crime Stoppers at 673-7373.
Information can be left with crimestoppers at 673-7373 or by logging onto the crimestoppers website at www.crimestoppersshreveportcaddo.com. -spd- View all SPD press releases at www.ci.shreveport.la.us/dept/police/spdnews |
