FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Officers’ daughter in critical condition

Shreveport Police Officer Joshua Feliciano's 1-month-old daughter is in critical condition at a local hospital today after being diagnosed with a life-threatening illness.

Isabella Feliciano has bacterial meningitis, a rare condition that is taking over the little girl's body. She was admitted to the hospital Sunday and is currently in a pediatric intensive care unit on partial life support.

The child is expected to be hospitalized for at least a month, so an account has been set up at Capital One to help Josh and his family with the mounting expenses.  It is called the Feliciano Account, and donations can be made at any Capitol One location.

Meanwhile, the family asks that little Isabella be added to prayer lists citywide.

Because of safety and privacy issues, the family wishes not to release the location of where Isabella is getting treatment.

Information can be left with crimestoppers at 673-7373 or by logging onto the crimestoppers website at www.crimestoppersshreveportcaddo.com.
