Raceway on Hearne shooting

The Shreveport Police Department needs the public's help in solving a shooting which occurred at the Raceway Gas Station on Hearne Avenue this evening.

Shortly before 7:20 PM this evening officers responded to a shooting call at the RACEWAY gas station on Hearne Avenue just south of I-20.

When officers arrived at the scene, they found Edward Clark a black male DOB 1-9-1983 shot twice once in the chest and once in the leg.  Clark was transported to LSU-HSC in serious condition.  The vehicle which the shots came from fled the scene traveling eastbound on I-20.

The suspect vehicle is a Blue Chrysler 300, unknown on the year.

Detectives are at the scene now reviewing the video tapes from the gas station as well as interviewing potential witnesses.
