Man arrested for indecent behavior with a juvenile

Shreveport Sex Crimes Unit has arrested a 48-year-old man on a charge of indecent behavior with a juvenile for an incident that occurred early Thursday.

Will Mitchell of the 700 block of Robinson Place reportedly was babysitting two boys, ages 11 and 7, when the older boy saw Mitchell fondle the genitals of the younger boy. The incident occurred around 4 a.m.

The two boys left the house and were walking to a relative's house when an unknown good Samaritan saw them walking and gave them a ride to their aunt's house.

Mitchell was taken into custody and booked into the Shreveport City Jail. He will be transferred to the Caddo Correctional Center on the felony charge.

Police would like to thank the woman who gave the boys a ride and speak with her. That Good Samaritan should contact Detective Paula Moreno at 673-6955.
