Operation Santa

Shreveport Police, Shreveport Fire and Bossier Parish Sheriff's Office will be at Shreve Island Elementary School Wednesday at 11:30 a.m. to receive a generous donation by Robyn Parker's class.

Mrs. Parker's class created cookbooks and sold them for $5 each. What they believed would be a small project ended up in more than $1,000 in sales of the cookbook!

They will be donating proceeds from their endeavors on Wednesday morning to Operation Santa Claus, which is run by the three above-listed agencies.

The media is welcomed to attend this presentation. The kids are very excited to get to do this for less fortunate children, while at the same time getting to meet police officers and firefighters!
