Police Promotions

Shreveport Police will hold promotions this Thursday, Dec. 20, at 3 p.m. in the Police Assembly Room, located on the second floor of SPD, 1234 Texas Avenue.

Capt. Mark Holley will be promoted to Assistant Chief of Police, filling the spot left vacant by Mike VanSant, who retired Friday.

Others being promoted include:

To Captain: Ray Goeckel, Michael Laing and Johnny Coffey

To Lieutenant: Earl Armstrong, Larry Cunningham, Horace Roberson, Samuel Taylor, Charles Robinson

To Sergeant: Sheena White, James Tipton

To Corporal: Timothy Prunty, Jeff Peters, Greg Jones
