Shooting on Milam and Sunset

Shreveport Police need the public's help in finding a man who shot another man late last night.

Eric Ardison, a black male 29 years of age, shot Rodney Carter, a black male DOB 4-29-79, in the chest last night.

Police were called to the intersection of Milam and Sunset Shortly after 8:30 PM last night. When officers arrived on the scene they found Carter shot at least one time in the chest.

Carter was rushed to LSU-HSC where he under went surgery. Carter is currently out of surgery and is listed in extremely critical condition.

Early this morning Shreveport detectives were able to secure a warrant with a $250,000 bond for Ardison on a charge of Attempted First Degree Murder. Police are still investigating the shooting at this time.
