Today, the Honorable Mayor Cedric B. Glover issued an executive order to have all flags in the City of Shreveport lowered to half staff in honor of Fire Battalion Chief Tommy Adams who passed away this morning at 2:30 a.m. The order is effective immediately and will remain until the funeral services of Chief Adams. | “I am truly saddened at the passing of Chief Adams. He and Traci have fought a difficult battle since his tragic accident on February 21, 2009. Chief Adams served this City with grace and dignity over the years.
