[ARCHIVED] Team Registration Available for the 2014 MLK Jr. Basketball Tournament

Shreveport Public Assembly and Recreation (SPAR), in conjunction with Cumulus and Academy Sports & Outdoors will host the 26th Annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Basketball Tournament, February 7th – 9th, 2014 in Shreveport. This tournament is designed to unite men, women and youth of all ethnic backgrounds for three (3) days of fun, fitness, and community unity. Over $3,000 in cash prizes and awards will be given to championship teams. Over one hundred (100) teams, Pro Am to Youth from five (5) southern states will be participating, featuring some of the toughest roundballers in the South.

The tournament is double elimination with a single elimination championship game. Registration deadline is Thursday, January 30th. Registration Fees: Pro-Am (Men) $300, Men (Recreation) $200, Adult Women $175, Wheelchair $150, Boys and Girls Middle School $75, 12 and under $75, 10 and under $75.
