The City of Shreveport and SPAR are pleased to watch the rising success of the Shreveport Artists’ Market in the Red River District. Every Saturday, 9 a.m. until 1 p.m., from now through August, the market will feature vendors of all kinds, from jewelry to woodworking, from bubbles to candles. Exclusive to the market is a children’s area, with a free activity for kids every week.

In addition to the Artists’ Market, the Red River District will also celebrate its monthly Last Saturday mini free family festival this Saturday, June 27th. Local band, “What the Funk?!”, Spinner Entertainment and mobile food vendors will be under the Texas Street Bridge from noon until 5:00 p.m.

The Red River District is under the Texas Street Bridge, conveniently located next to the Eldorado parking garage with handicapped accessibility on both the west and east ends of the district.
