The City of Shreveport announces the upcoming 2015 SPAR Youth Football season:

SPAR’s Youth Football program is part of the Heads Up program of the NFL. The Heads Up program is designed to make youth football better and safer for young players. SPAR’s youth football program is open to girls and boys ages 5 to 12 (age cut-off is September 1st).

Organizational Meeting is Wednesday, July 15th at 6 PM at SPAR Wildwood (7401 Jewella)
Season begins September 12th
Team entry deadline is August 14th
Roster deadline is August 28th
Cost is $10 per player

2015 Punt, Pass and Kick Competition is Sunday, September 27th at 1:30 PM at Lee Hedges Stadium (registration information is available at myspar.org). The NFL Punt, Pass and Kick is a free competition open to boys and girls ages 6 to 15. Participants compete in punting, kicking and passing. Winners advance to a regional competition with a chance to advance to state-level and national competitions.
