Paul Pratt was formerly employed with Chesapeake Energy Corporation as the Director of Corporate Government Relations-Louisiana, and most recently was a Lobbyist and Consultant.

Education:  Louisiana State University in Shreveport with a B.S. in Finance and an A.D. in Banking and Finance from Southern University-Shreveport.

Our Chairperson for 2022 is Paul Pratt.  Paul has been responsible for managing Corporate Development activities, Asset Management and Governmental relations. He has lived in Shreveport all of his life. Paul is a graduate from Louisiana State University in Shreveport with a B.S. in Finance and an A.D. in Banking and Finance from Southern University-Shreveport. Paul is a 2011 Graduate of the Leadership Louisiana Program and 2003 graduate of the Greater Shreveport Chamber of Commerce Leadership Program.

Currently, Paul serves on the Executive Board for LMOGA and the Board of Directors for LOGA, and PAR. Recently, the Vice Chair of Public Policy for the Shreveport Chamber of Commerce, and Director and Founding member and the first Chairman for the Haynesville Shale Bass Fishing non-profit. In addition, he served as 2014-2015 Chairman of the Duck Commander Independence Bowl.

He has or currently serves on the Red River Revel Board of Directors in 2009-2011, 2011-2012 Chairman- Caddo Council on Aging Board of Directors in 2011-2013, 2017 finance committee, and Treasurer, Sci-Port Discovery Center Board of Directors and a Board of Directors member of the Louisiana Association for Non-profit Organizations (LANO) State-Wide Board of Directors, the United Way of NWLA Board of Directors, ARC of Caddo-Bossier Foundation and Board, State Fair of Louisiana General Board 2013-present and  CE Byrd High Foundation in 2013-2015.  Paul is also the recipient of the Harry Blake Award and NAACP President's Award in 2009, African-American Chamber of Commerce’s 2012 Chairman’s Award and 2014 SUSLA Foundation Education Award. Member of the Mt. Canaan Baptist Church and Sunday school teacher.
