Mayor Perkins, City Leadership Take Salary Cut as Efforts to Manage COVID-19 Fiscal Impact Begin

Mayor Adrian Perkins announced today that he, senior staff, and department heads will take a 10 percent salary cut for the remainder of the fiscal year. This comes as the City of Shreveport weighs options to manage the economic impact of COVID-19.

Mayor Adrian Perkins Issues Emergency Declaration

Mayor Adrian Perkins has declared a Public Health Emergency for the City of Shreveport. This declaration was filed with the Clerk of Court's office earlier today. It takes effect April 2, 2020 at 6:00 PM and remains in effect until May 2, 2020 at 6:00 AM.
