[ARCHIVED] Smoke Detector Saves Man's Life

The Shreveport Fire Department responded to an apartment fire in the 3700 Blk. of Richmond Ave this morning. The fire department was notified of a fire within an apartment at 9:07 am and Engine 7 arrived on scene at 9:10 am.
