This year, the Department of Community Development will be celebrating the 43rd year of the Community Development Block Grant Program from April 17-22, 2017.

As part of this celebration, we will hold our "Fun Day in the Park" activities for the citizens of Shreveport at Chris Hays Recreation Center located in Mooretown at 4300 Illinois Street on Thursday, April 20, 2017 from 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM. We will have live music, food, games and  information on health & wellness, career and employment opportunities. Come join the fun!
