The City of Shreveport’s Department of Community Development is seeking proposals from community organizations to manage and implement the City of Shreveport’s Financial Empowerment Center. The Financial Empowerment Center model provides free, professional, one-on-one financial counseling and coaching to residents to support financially vulnerable residents within the City of Shreveport. 

The respondent must be an organization with a 501©3 nonprofit tax exempt status with proven experience in the delivery of social services in the community and ability to implement counseling services to residents. The respondent must be willing to comply with procurement requirements, relevant regulations, and any other applicable provisions of the law.  The respondent must not have any interest which would conflict with the performance of services required by this RFP.
