The 48-inch sewer main that drains to the Stoner Lift Station located on the Clyde Fant Parkway and Stoner Avenue has suffered a major break, requiring the northbound lanes of Clyde Fant Parkway from Shreveport Barksdale to Stoner Avenue to be closed for repairs.  

The work will require pumping from a point in the median of the Parkway to the lift station.  The Parkway will be closed for approximately week so pipes can be bored under the Parkway for a longer term by-pass.  The repair of the sewer main cannot be completed until the water level in the Red River drops eight to ten feet.
