The City of Shreveport Department of Community Development has released its Program Year 2016 Neighborhood Investment Program (NIP) application. NIP offers small grants to neighborhood based organizations in the city limits of Shreveport to do projects that improve the quality of life in their neighborhoods. Grants range from $2,500 to $6,000. Grants are intended to spur small, grassroots community projects.
